Skiff women coach
The Royal Netherlands Yachting Union is seeking a FULLTIME WOMEN’S SKIFF COACH (M/F)
Purpose of the position:
The coach has a solid and clear vision and is responsible for the program, team, individuals and results.
Main tasks:
• Guidance of the sports technical development of the sailors;
• Training of the sailors;
• Coaching during high performance events;
• Lead and manage a team of specialists and supporting staff;
• Collect, develop and share sport technical knowledge;
• Develop and support the long term sport technical educational plan;
• Stimulate the development of competences of sport technical staff;
• Scout talent
Job demands:
• Rich experience with coaching and managing in complex (elite sports) organisations
• Inspiring, smart, creative and strong communicator.
• Good verbal and writing skills.
• Realising results.
• Analytic abilities.
• Professional performance and attitude.
• Good cooperative and social skills.
Earnings and benefits:
Depending on age and experience. We strive to set up a service level agreement based on performance preferably with an independent coach / company.

About the RNYU and the Delta Lloyd Sailing Team
The WATERSPORTVERBOND (RNYU) is a typical sports organisation managed by professionals assisted by volunteers and assisted by a professional office. More than 25 employees work here and support the board, committees, regions, classes and more than 400 clubs and over 100.000 members. The High Performance department of the RNYU runs an ambitious World Class Performance Program for most Olympic Classes. The objectives of this program can be summarised in ‘HIGHER and FASTER’. This high performance department operates from its International Sailing Centres in The Hague and Medemblik.
The skiff squad is part of the Delta Lloyd Sailing Team. The Delta Lloyd Sailing Team selects, trains and manages the best sailors in Olympic classes from the Netherlands. Next to ‘performance’ we also strive to improve ‘pr-value’ and ‘presentation’. We want to build a positive image for sports, sailing and the RNYA in general and Delta Lloyd and High Performance Sailing in particular.

Multihull (mixed) coach

Purpose of the position:

• Training of the elite athletes;
• Coaching during high performance events;
• Lead and manage a team of specialists and supporting staff;
• Collect, develop and share sport technical knowledge;
• Develop and support the long term sport technical educational plan;
• Stimulate the development of competences of sport technical staff;
• Scout talent
Job demands:

Docent Regionaal Opleidingsteam bij het Watersportverbond
Heb jij minimaal een CWO zeilinstructeurdiploma op niveau 4 (I-4) en wil je graag bijdragen aan kaderontwikkeling bij CWO-opleidingslocaties in je eigen regio (bij zowel vaarscholen als zeilverenigingen)? Solliciteer dan op deze vacature! Ook als je je ZI-B hebt en lang niet meer actief bent geweest maar het wel overweegt om weer wat actiever te worden in de zeil en –opleidingswereld, dan ben je van harte uitgenodigd om te reageren.
In een regionaal opleidingsteam ga je aan de slag met een team van ongeveer 6 tot 8 man. Het team bestaat uit instructeurs met minimaal niveau 4 (I-4, I-4* en opleiders). In de toekomst wordt dit uitgebreid met docenten BWO en rescue.
Samen met de andere docenten van het opleidingsteam geef jij vorm aan de opleidingsstructuur binnen de regio. Je leidt competentiegericht op en de wensen/behoeften van de CWO-opleidingslocaties vormen het uitgangspunt.
Opleiding en bijscholing door het Watersportverbond
De docenten binnen het opleidingsteam worden geschoold en getraind door het Watersportverbond. Minstens 1x per jaar zullen alle opleidingsteams van de 8 regio’s in Nederland samenkomen voor een bijscholingsdag. Verder wordt per opleidingsteam gekeken wat nodig is om het goed te laten functioneren.
Tijdsinvestering
Gezamenlijk breng je met je team in kaart wat de opleidingsvragen zijn in de regio en wat dat concreet betekent in tijd. Onderling wordt afgestemd wie wat wanneer doet, rekening houdend met de mogelijkheden per individu. Je geeft zelf aan hoeveel tijd/dagdelen je beschikbaar bent. Voor aanvang van het seizoen organiseert het Watersportverbond een bijeenkomst voor de officiële aftrap.
Vergoeding
Het Watersportverbond biedt de standaard vergoeding van instructeurs. Dit betekent dat deelname aan het opleidingsteam semi-vrijwillig is. Reiskosten en uitvoerende werkzaamheden op verenigingen worden vergoed. Daarnaast investeert het Watersportverbond in je persoonlijke- en zeiltechnische ontwikkeling.
